How do I transfer data / back up my iPhone?

Be sure to create regular backups of your iPhone so you never lose your important information.

There are many reasons why you would want to do a backup of your phone. It is recommended that you do regular backups of your device in case you misplace your phone or it gets damaged. If your phone needs to go away for repair; a backup is vital as one of the first steps in troubleshooting a handset is to reset it to factory condition.

A backup will allow you to quickly recover your data when your device is returned from repair or if you have to purchase a new handset due to lost/stolen or irreparable damage.
