DailyPass is a convenient travel feature that is added to your account. The feature automatically charges a low daily rate when you are roaming in one of over 100 countries. While roaming, all usage is treated like you are in Canada. This means you’ll be using the voice, SMS and data from the plan you already subscribe to so you never have to worry about roaming charges.

Important Update: If you have purchased Travel Savers in the past and now subscribe to DailyPass, you no longer need to add a Travel Saver. DailyPass is designed to recognize where you are and charge you according to your location only if you have usage.

When roaming with your mobile device please note that not all roaming partners support all features of the Tbaytel network. For example, features such as Caller ID Block, Call Forwarding, Name Display and Data Service may not be supported by some roaming partners.

Travel Saver Duration
Travel Savers are valid for one billing period only. Data and minute allocations will expire at the end of the billing period. Travel Savers not available on all plans.
U.S. Travel Saver Overage Rates
Overage charges to Canadian or U.S. numbers will be 50¢/Minute. Calls from the U.S. to all other destinations will be 50¢/Minute. U.S. Travel Savers text from U.S. to U.S. or Canada overage charge 30¢/Message to all other destinations.
International Data Roaming Overage Cap
$100 Data Block and Cap applies to all zones. Customer can provide consent to more than $100. Tbaytel blocks International data roaming (Zones 2-5) on all Postpaid wireless accounts that do not have an active International Data Plan or Travel Bundle to prevent accidental usage while travelling.
RoamAway DailyPass
RoamAway DailyPass is available on qualifying postpaid plans only. DailyPass is applicable only while roaming in the U.S. (including U.S. Virgin Islands) or International Zone 2, 3, and 4. DailyPass is valid each day until 11:59 p.m. (EST) regardless of the time zone in which you are roaming or the time of day it was added. DailyPass fee is only charged on days where you are roaming and is triggered when you use your device to make any call or text, or access data. DailyPass may be used for as many days within your bill cycle as you like and you will be charged the applicable daily rate for each of those days. Should you exceed the data or minutes included in your monthly plan, you will be charged the domestic overage rate applicable to your monthly plan, in addition to the DailyPass fee. Roaming across multiple zones in a single day will only trigger a single daily charge. Roaming in the United States and a Zone 2, 3 or 4 country during the same day will result in a single $16 daily charge. Data speeds and technology access may vary while travelling.
