The Tbaytel Board of Directors are pleased to announce Paul Norris as Tbaytel’s incoming President and CEO, effective October 1, 2024.

Tbaytel continues to bolster its 5G coverage in northern Ontario after the results of the recent 3800 MHz spectrum auction by Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED) Canada.

Thunder Bay, Ontario (April 25, 2023) – Tbaytel released Expanding with Stronger Connections: 2022 Report to the Community. The report highlights key accomplishments from the past year, Tbaytel’s strategic direction and summarizes financial information. It also highlights a number of new products and services as Tbaytel continues to make strategic decisions and investments to bring the latest in telecommunications technology to northern Ontario.

Tbaytel and the Township of Terrace Bay are celebrating as it became the next northern Ontario community to have access to Tbaytel’s state-of-the-art fibre technology as of Tuesday, March 7.
