*Please note that a Personal Alarm self installed in a home where multiple jacks exist may not allow for line seizure. This may result in signal transmission loss to the monitoring station. True line seizure may not be possible without an 8 Pin Jack.

A Personal Alarm provides you with a 24-hour connection to trained professionals. Calling for help is easy – simply press the emergency button on the wearable pendant or the main unit to speak with a live operator. For your safety, if you can’t respond to the live operator, a family member, friend, neighbour or ambulance will be dispatched to provide you with the assistance you need.
The system works with your existing phone line, so installation and activation are easy.

Tbaytel is also in partnership with Thunder Bay Ambulance for the "Safelock Lockbox" system. This is a rugged box that is attached to the subscriber's entry door. Within the box is a key to unlock the appropriate door to allow the ambulance attendants immediate access.
