Customer Dialed Calls

Dial direct from a residence or business phone and pay only for the minutes your call is connected. A minimum charge of 1 minute applies.

• To call inside or outside your area code: Dial 1 + area code + phone number
• Calls to Bermuda and the Caribbean may be dialed in the same manner
• For TTY/Teletypewriter users, dial 711
• Relay Service for Hearing People, dial 1-800-855-0511

Operator-Assisted Calls

Operator-assisted calls are more expensive than direct-dialed calls. There is a charge in addition to the long distance rates.

• For operator-assisted calls dial 00 or 0 + area code + the number and follow the prompts

Collect Calls / Third Party Billing

When placing a collect call or billing your call to a third number:

• Dial 1-800-646-0000 (Telus Automated Billing service will answer)
• Follow the prompts to place a long distance call
• You have the option to place a "collect call" or "bill to a third party"

Personal Toll-Free Number

Make calls home or receive calls from select friends and relatives with a Tbaytel Personal Toll-Free Number. With one low rate, this service has no installation charge, no service charge and no monthly rate. Plus, you can specify the area codes that you will accept calls from.

International Calls

• Customer-dialed calls: 011 + country code + city code + local number
• For person-to-person calls, Calling Card calls, third-party billing and collect calls: 01 + country code + city code + local number
