Maintenance of Tbaytel systems and networks is necessary to ensure Tbaytel delivers quality service to you, our valued customers. We apologize for the inconvenience as we continue to make significant improvements to our network to ensure we are meeting your expectations. Troubleshooting Tip: If you are experiencing a loss of service outside of a maintenance window; power off the affected Tbaytel equipment, then power it back on after 30 seconds. For step-by-step instructions, visit the Support section and select the affected product.

Outage Alert - Unifi - August 17

Tbaytel is experiencing an issue with our UniFi platform. Business customers can place outbound calls, but will have no audio (dead air). Technicians are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.


Maintenance Alert - Mobility - Kenora - Ongoing

Please be advised, Tbaytel will be turning down the rooftop site on Laurenson Lane in Kenora due to scheduled building maintenance with work expected to take place between August 2026 through Spring 2027. During this maintenance some customers in Kenora may experience mild performance reduction in their Mobility services during peak hours. 


Scam Alert - Ongoing

We are aware of several scams that continue to target our customers by phone and email. Fraudulent emails are being sent, either requesting payment for a non-existent account or claiming you must “update” your email inbox to avoid termination. Some homeowners are also being targeted by phone and asked to download an app.

Please be advised:

  • Tbaytel will never call to ask you to download any apps before an installation or service appointment.
  • Tbaytel will never ask you for payments on non-existent accounts or require you to “update” your inbox.
  • To confirm your bill, use the official myTbaytel App, to verify your account number and total amount owed.

If you receive a suspicious email, do not click any links or provide personal details.
