Tbaytel is working hard to bring the latest in cutting edge wireless technology to northern Ontario. Beginning in early 2023, the first phase of our 5G network will be available in Thunder Bay, with additional sites being launched throughout the year.

You can be one of the first to experience Tbaytel 5G by being 5G Ready. What you’ll need is a 5G compatible device, an LTE or 5G SIM Card and a 5G compatible Unlimited Data Plan. If you’re looking to buy a new phone, look for the “5G Ready” icon next the device to ensure you’re ready to experience all that 5G can bring.
