HSPA Hardware Commitment Policy
The hardware commitment is the monthly charge necessary to pay off the full device cost. Each month, your hardware commitment decreases until it is paid off at the end of your agreement which will allow you to upgrade at no cost. You can upgrade at any point in your commitment provided you pay your remaining hardware commitment balance. Example if a customer purchases a Smartphone on a 3 year hardware commitment and would like to upgrade after 12 months of their current hardware commitment they would be charged 24 x $16.00 = $384.00. Tbaytel has 2 different hardware commitments based on the type of device you have $16.00 for Smart phone and $8.00 for Smartphone Lite, Cell phones, and Portable Data devices.
