Your Tbaytel Calling Card is an easy way to make long distance calls to anywhere in the world from Canada and the US. You can also call to Canada from over 130 countries around the globe. A surcharge may apply to certain calls.

Cardholder Agreement: Use of the Calling Card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions listed below. Except as modified by the terms of this Cardholder Agreement, 1) in respect of tariffed services, the terms and conditions, rates and transaction charges in the General Tariff will apply hereto as if incorporated herein, and 2) in respect to non-tariffed services, the terms and conditions in Tbaytel’s “General Terms for Non-Tariffed Services” and Tbaytel’s regular rates and transaction charges for such services, as amended from time to time, will apply hereto as if incorporated herein.

The billed party agrees to pay all charges incurred through the utilization of the Calling Card number. Subsequent use shall constitute acceptance of such changed terms and conditions.

The issuer determines the countries to which Calling Card calls are permitted. The list of those countries is subject to periodic revision. The enclosed Calling Card is the property of the issuer and must be returned upon request.

The issuer reserves the right to remove the Calling Card number from the validation databases for fraudulent or suspected fraudulent use.

The enclosed Calling Card has no expiry date and is valid as long as the user retains the billing number with which it is associated. Use of the Calling Card after service is discontinued, cancelled or changed is illegal and fraudulent. Under such circumstances, please destroy the Calling Card. This Calling Card is not transferable to another telephone number or person. If your employer has provided you with this Calling Card, please return it to your employer if you change employment.

The Card number contains a personal identification number (PIN) for validation. Please do not give this number to anyone other than the telephone operator when you are placing a call. Please ensure that unauthorized persons cannot overhear or see the Calling Card number.

To receive Tbaytel rates for Calling Card calls placed within Canada and the USA, place your call using 1-866-822-9835. If you place calls within Canada using “0” or “0+,” you will be billed at the rates in effect where the call was placed. If you place calls within the USA using “0” or “0+,” you will be billed at the USA rates in effect where the call was placed. To receive Tbaytel rates for Calling Card calls placed from overseas locations, use the Canada Direct™ service. Local calls from payphones charged to your Calling Card may include a transaction fee in addition to the payphone charge. All Calling Cards made will appear on your monthly telephone bill.

If your Calling Card is lost, stolen, or the Calling Card number becomes known to or used by unauthorized persons, please call 1-800-264-9501 (toll-free) or notify our Business Office at 807-623-4400 immediately to prevent fraudulent use. The Cardholder is responsible for all charges incurred through the use of this Calling Card until such loss, theft or unauthorized use has been reported.
