Email Spam Filtering Instructions
In an effort to reduce the amount of spam emails customers have been receiving, Tbaytel has recently upgraded its email spam filtering software. If you notice that you are not receiving emails that you normally receive, you may need to update your spam filter settings. To update your email spam filter settings, please follow the steps below:
- Log into your mail account at mail.tbaytel.net (do not use the "Enhanced Login" interface)
- Once you've logged in, go to settings, and change the Web Access - Layout option to "LookOut_3", and click on "Update"
- Log out of your email, and then log back in.
- In this layout, you can open emails in your Junk folder, and then click "Report as NOT Spam" to whitelist the email address that sent the email. Alternatively, you can mark a message as spam by browsing to the Inbox, open a message that is spam, and click 'Report as Spam'.
