Tbaytel Rebranding Its Wireless Network to 4G HSPA+

Effective today, Tbaytel is rebranding its 3G HSPA+ Network and will now refer to it as a 4G HSPA+ Network
On December 6, 2010 the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), an organization that defines network classifications within the telecommunications industry, expanded the definition of a 4G wireless mobile network. Initially, the ITU had a very narrow definition for 4G networks, but, in December, expanded it to now include HSPA+ networks (networks like Tbaytel’s current 3G HSPA+ Network). As a result of the new definition by the ITU, Tbaytel will now refer to its network as a 4G HSPA+ Network...
